In a desperate effort to get money for a car, I'm pleading the internet to donate as little as $0.01 cent to me, so eventually my pool of donations will be enough to buy a car. I am simply too limited without one. I cannot go shopping, I cannot take my girlfriend anywhere, and I have to wait hideously long times to take multiple busses to get anywhere. I need some help here!

Like any red-blooded man of the male gender, I just love driving a car. If the concept of heading on down to the local petrol station and pumping $70 worth of premium unleaded into your killing machine doesn’t appeal to you, you’re a frikkin’ pansy. Also, you’re probably sane and will live significantly longer than I will. However, you should list your trip at http://www.shareyourride.net and find some friends to keep the petrol expenses down on your road trip. Or you could buy a bus ticket and travel around for hours at 50mph with strange smelling people, unable to open a window or change the radio station while all the cool people join carpools and give hot chicks a lift!

Teens on Rails, a new community site for teens using the Ruby on Rails framework, has just recently became a sponsor. I’d like to thank everyone at Teens on Rails for providing the donation and allowing me to get that much closer to a car.

Thank you Teens on Rails!

Help Me Buy a Car is going to be releasing a series of videos very soon. It’s going to be distrusted throughout the major video sharing networks, and hopefully be able to promote HMBAC. If you have any ideas yourself, feel free to send an e-mail with your idea.

Be sure to check back soon!

For the past couple days I have been working on upgrading Help Me Buy a Car. The overall layout is the same, but the mechanics of the site have had a complete overhaul. It’s not just a one-page site anymore.

The changes were put in place to make the site that much more useful.

There is now a dedicated page for every sponsor, so if you have donated in the past, and are a company. You are entitled to having your own page. (Example) So please send an image, and a couple paragraphs with what you’d like on your own page.

Not only this, but there is also (this blog) that will have updates on the entire concept, and how everything is going. It should be a lot more fun now, and actually make you want to check back with Help Me Buy a Car.

There’s more changes of course, go ahead and browse around.

help me buy a car!

Hello, and welcome to "Help Me Buy A Car!". This site was created by me, Daniel Fischer. I live in Los Angeles, California. I've been a resident here my entire life. I've reached the age where a car is absolutely necessary to truly become independent.

To anyone that comes across this site, all I ask is for a small simple donation. Anything truly helps to reach that goal of going to a used-car lot, and purchasing a car. I'd really appreciate anything, and in return I'll do my best to give exposure to whatever you want to represent. Again, thank you for visiting Help Me Buy A Car!

Please help out and spread this video like wildfire! (Comment/rate it too!)

  • A video describing why you feel you should be featured on Help Me Buy a Car!
  • An introduction to who you are.
  • Two-to-four paragraphs why you need a car.
  • Pictures to be shown if featured.
  • Send to daniel [at] helpmebuyacar.org
